The Spanish Riding School of Vienna are delighted to announce they will be bringing the famous Lipizzaner stallions back to the UK in 2014.
The new UK tour will kick off with three performances at the Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena on October 31 st, November 1st and 2 nd 2014.
This is the first time the majestic, highly trained horses and riders of the 430 year old “High School for Classical Horsemanship” will have performed in the North of England.
The tour will then move South for three dates at London's Wembley Arena on November 14 th , 15 th and 16 th 2014
The show is an impressive display of classical equitation in the Renaissance tradition of the haute école.
The audience will be mesmerised by the absolute balance and harmony achieved by these beautiful White Lipizzaner stallions and their regal riders.
All of their famous in-hand work and movements above the ground such as the Capriole, Levade and Courbette will be performed.
TV presenter and British Dressage Ambassador, Nicki Chapman will be hosting the event and will be joined by special guests
making this 2014 Spanish Riding School of Vienna Tour one of the most unique, exciting and captivating events of the coming year.

It was a real pleasure to meet so many of you at Wembley in November.We are glad to hear you enjoyed the performance. Magical was a
word often used to describe the performances.
The current Wembley performances were preceded by a choreographed routine performed by Olympic and Paralympic dressage riders
Carl Hester and Lee Pearson which went down well with both Lipizzaner owners and the public alike.
Thank you for all your kind comments about our stand. We were pleased with it too. We would like to thank everyone who gave their time so willingly
to help out. The Ash Family and the Hardy Family & the Hayes Family especially who both gave up so much time over the four days to help man the stand.
From the feedback we have received, the mood of the public was very encouraging. It made a pleasant and light hearted atmosphere.
We met so many new people and the interest shown in the breed was very encouraging.
Classical horsemanship came to wide audience and for the Lipizzaner, as you know, an endangered breed, it can only be a good thing.
We have Live Nation Ltd and Universal Music Arts & Entertainment Ltd
to thank for this as their advertising and promotion of the event certainly seemed to pay off. Three of the days were a complete
sell out with the recently added Thursday performance almost so. The more people who know about the breed and enjoy what they have seen, the better.
We have spoken to 100's of people both during and after the visit and they have been interested in learning more about the Lipizzaner, several
wanting to ‘touch a live one'. Thank you so much to those who have agreed to show people your beautiful horses.

The Lipizzaner National Stud Book Association of G.B. - Official Stud Book Organisation for Lipizzaners in the UK -is dedicated to the preservation of the breed and its centuries old traditions & to researching, authenticating and collating the lineage of Lipizzaner horses in the UK by liaison with the World Authority for the breed The Lipizzan International Federation (LIF) whose members include all traditional Lipizzaner State Studs of Europe & the Spanish Riding School of Vienna. LNSA's registered Lipizzaners represent the Classical Dynasties & originate from all the important State Studs of Europe.
We are members of the British Horse Society Horse & Pony Breeds Committee & the only British Delegates of the Lipizzan International Federation (LIF).
The Association is recognised by DEFRA & the EU, both as a National Stud Book & as a Passport Issuing Organisation.

The LNSA, first established as The British Lipizzaner Horse Society, was given Official Recognition of its pre-eminent status by the Secretary of State, & added its current name to reflect that recognition and better define its role.
